ASLA 2020 Conference

Registration Information

ASLA and AETC will be partnering to bring you ASLA 2020 Summer Conference on June 16, 2020 at the Mobile Battlehouse Hotel.

Conference Registration for Tuesday, June 16th is done through AETC - Purchase Orders/POs, Checks, and Credit Cards will be accepted. Regular memberships can also be renewed through registration. Register early to get the lowest price!

Keynote Speakers

Shannon McClintock Miller

Shannon is an international speaker, consultant and author who has a passion for education, librarianship, advocacy, technology, social media and making a difference in the world and lives of others, especially children. Shannon brings a special expertise and vision to conversations around school libraries, education, technology, creativity and student voice. Shannon is the Innovation Director of Instructional Media and Library Media at Van Meter Community School in Iowa and Future Ready Librarians Spokesperson working with students, librarians, educators and others around the world every day.

Aisha Saeed

Aisha is a New York Times bestselling author. She wrote WRITTEN IN THE STARS which was listed as a best book of 2015 by Bank Street Books and a 2016 YALSA Quick Pick For Reluctant Readers. She is also the author of the middle grade novel AMAL UNBOUND a Summer 2018 Indie Next Pick, an Amazon Best Book of the Month, has received starred reviews from Publisher’s Weekly and Kirkus, and was a Global Read Aloud in 2018. She released her first picture book BILAL COOKS DAAL in 2019, which was named an Asian/Pacific American Award honor book . Aisha is a founding member of the nonprofit We Need Diverse Books™.
